Sometimes it can be hard to find the diet that works best for you, especially when there are so many different ones out there that promise to help you lose weight and become healthy. The Atkins diet was considered a fad diet when it first became well-known. However, it is a diet that can really work if you stick with it. It is a diet that has you cutting out carbs from your diet. It was created by Robert Atkins in the 1970s. The diet is made up of four stages where you completely cut out carbs, and then slowly reintroduce them to your diet over time. During the diet, you are allowed to eat as much protein and fat that you want.

The South Beach Diet was created by Dr. Arthur Agatston in the 1990s. He took his cue from the Atkins diet, but where his diet is different is that he lowered the amount of fats that you could eat and increased the amount of protein. He was concerned that the high fat contents of the Atkins diet could lead to heart disease. The South Beach Diet also consisted of several stages.

The vegan diet is a popular diet that really does work to help you shed pounds and keep them off. While the vegan lifestyle is thought to be extreme since it cuts out all animal byproducts, it is also praised for being healthy and an ethical way of eating. While some vegan diets that consist of a lot of processed foods aren’t very healthy, there are some that rely on a lot of fruits and vegetables.

The ketogenic diet was called a fad diet before everyone realized that it actually did work to help you lose weight. The diet helps you by lowering the levels of insulin in your body. It also causes your body to use ketones instead of sugars as its primary source of fuel. When your body doesn’t have enough carbs to burn it switches to ketones, and is in what is known as ketosis.
